Meet the Host
Hello and welcome to Conservation Curator! My name is Mauricio Mata. I’m a nature enthusiast that is currently studying Ecology & Evolutionary Biology as well as Psychology at California State University, Fullerton. I participate in undergraduate research associated with Mojave Desert Tortoises and the invasive Scaly-breasted Munia.
I have worked as a Park Ranger for the City of Corona in Southern California. I also served in the United States Air Force while I was stationed in the United Kingdom. I have a passion for photography and travel with the intent of learning and discovering more about the world that surrounds us.
